How to think like a hacker

Welcome to this spring's ASRG Meetup! This time we will be in the inspiring premises of Devies Cybersecurity.

We're inviting you to join us for a speech, demo, and mingle!

Speaker: Emil Sundstedt – Technical Security Consultant for Knowit Cybersecurity & Law.

Join Emil as he breaks down the process of a cyberattack using the kill chain framework. Each step will be explained and demonstrated with real-world findings in a controlled demo environment. He will later connect these insights to construct an exploit—one that could even grant root access.

By the end of the session, Emil will reveal the vulnerabilities used and explain how they can be effectively patched to strengthen security.

Emil Sundstedt
Technical Security Consultant

Emil is a Technical Security Consultant for Knowit Cybersecurity & Law. His main focus comes from cloud security but has a broad knowledge and has been working with Docker, Kubernetes, secure coding, ISO 27001, security hardening and penetration testing. He is also performing different seminars for universities on the topics of hacking and product security. He has a huge interest in IT, penetration testing, coding and security hardening. Emil has a Master of Science degree in computer security issued by Blekinge Tekniska Högskola and is CISSP certified.
